• Research summary

  We will recruit up to 60 midlife women (ages 40-72) from the PREVENT-Dementia programme. PREVENT is a cohort of cognitively healthy midlife adults, enriched for dementia risk factors (family history, APOE ε4 carriership). Participants will wear the Oura Ring continuously for 3 months, record event ‘tags’ on their app, and undergo an exit interview questionnaire at the end of their 3-month data collection period. As a pilot study, this work is not intended to establish causal relationships, but rather to evaluate feasibility (ring wear-time, data completeness, participant burden), estimate effect‐size ranges, and inform the design of future studies in larger cohorts.
