  • Research summary

The aim of this study is to determine the prevalence of a certain type of hip shape in the asymptomatic population. This shape has been implicated as a potential cause of hip pain (femero-acetabular impingement). Patients already undergoing pelvic CT scans for conditions unrelated to the hip will be given a questionaire, enquiring about the presence of symptoms emanating from their hips. Their images will then be analysed for the presence of any deformity of the hip.
