Research summary
This study aims to understand the prevalence of ADHD amongst children with obesity in the Hampshire area. Previous studies have found a significant association between ADHD and obesity but no study on the prevalence of ADHD in youth with obesity in the UK are available. This study will generate data that are necessary for designing a large randomised controlled study aimed to assess the impact of screening for/treating ADHD in children with obesity
