• Research summary

  This study aims to determine the number of incident cases of congenital dacryocystocoeles, its presentation, natural resolution, complications, treatment and outcome of cases presenting to ophthalmologists in the UK. A prospective observational study will be carried out. Incident cases will be ascertained in the UK reported through the British Ophthalmic Surveillance Unit reporting card system.
