Research summary
The human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is a slowly replicating retrovirus that infects cells in the immune system. People living with HIV experience a high prevalence of mental health issues. This study proposes a one-phase cross-sectional design and aims to identify psychological predictors of HIV-related quality of life, healthcare utilisation, and adherence to medication.
