Research summary
The Research looks to investigate if having a session with a psychological therapist before Surgery to remove a Sarcoma will lead to a better recovery for patients following their surgery. Participants will be split between two arms; one arm will receive a psychological pre-operative session with a psychologist, the control arm will receive standard care. Before and after their surgery all participants will complete surveys regarding their wellbeing, recovery and functioning. These will be compared to identify difference between and within groups.
