Research summary
This study is deigned to investigate if there is variability in nerve conduction findings across the different populations we commonly see in our Neurophysiology Department. Whilst we currently use 'normal' values in our laboratory, these were based on studies, often performed 20-30 years ago and in a mainly middle aged Caucasian population. Our current clinical practice suggest that normal values do vary between populations and we wish to perform this study to see if this is indeed the case.
