Research summary
The aim of this study is to explore the effects of stressful and traumatic births on the birth partners of women. In particular, the study will be looking to see if a condition known as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is present in birth partners who have witnessed a stressful and complicated delivery, as well as those who have witnessed an uncomplicated vaginal birth or elective (planned) Caesarean section.
