• Research summary

  The study comprises of two phases that will run sequentially. Phase one is a feasibility study to assess the utility of [11C]-(R)-PK11195 PET in patients with known brain metastases demonstrated on conventional imaging. Phase two will only commence if pre-defined criteria are met in phase one. Phase two is an exploratory observational imaging study to assess whether [11C]-(R)-PK11195 PET can be used to identify brain metastases before they become apparent using conventional routine imaging.
