Research summary
This is a pilot study to see the ease of use, and quality of images obtained using needle arthroscopy (1.2mm) for the examination of joint cavities. The patients will be those who have previously been listed for conventional arthroscopy (5mm), and whilst under anesthetic the needle arthroscopy will be used to asses the joint - preceding their conventional (treatment) arthroscopy.
