  PGRx is an information system that intends to describe diseases (descriptive epidemiology of diseases) and to provide information focused on disease management, burden of disease, treatment patterns and patient’s quality of life. The system uses a transversal study design with a recruitment of patients diagnosed on targeted pathologies (e.g. acute coronary syndrome, multiple sclerosis, cancers and others) and a routine retrospective epidemiological collection of disease measures and resource use (treatment, hospitalisation, laboratory tests, medical procedures and others).
