  • Research summary

The research to be undertaken will be a questionnaire based survey. It will be trying to determine whether service users in 4 GP health Centres on Anglesey would be willing to see a Physiotherapist as a First Point of Contact and in preference to their GP, when struggling in pain or if having sustained an injury. The questionnaire includes a brief educational intervention that will serves to inform the service user of the advanced practice skills of the Physiotherapist. Pre and post intervention questions will aim to determine the thoughts of the service user and whether they would be therefore be happy to the physiotherapist first.
