  • Research summary

There is a broad literature exploring the investigation, treatment, management and outcomes of patients suffering from pulmonary embolism (PE). However, there is little published work evaluating clinical outcomes for the large majority of individuals surviving PE who do not have persistent pulmonary artery thrombus or CTEPH. It is our impression that following sub-massive pulmonary embolism many individuals remain breathless. Therefore this study aims to review radiology reports
for CT pulmonary angiography performed between 2013-2016 inclusive in patients from Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.
