Data collection arrangements
All data collected as part of this database will be stored a secure, password encrypted drive, which will only be accessible to members of the research team. Any potential identifiable data will be kept stored separately from the research database records. Only approved staff from the clinical research team will use this information to collect any perioperative mapping and monitoring data required for the research database or to check patient records to make sure that the research is being properly carried out.
Research programme
The data collected in this research dataset will support research towards the impact of different surgical and perioperative mapping techniques in patients presenting with brain tumours. The results of this research will be published in peer reviewed journals. We plan to update the community about this results in patient and public involvement events organised for this purpose.
