Research summary
The aim of this research project is to assess the function of the hand and / or wrist following fusion surgery for patients with rheumatoid arthritis affecting the relevant joint(s). The assessment includes the level of pain at rest and when performing activities, the type(s) of activity you could perform, and operative success by demonstrating fusion of the joint on X-ray and satisfaction rating on the appearance of the scar.
