Research summary
This research will seek to uncover and explore patients’ beliefs and perceptions of the role of the Health Care Assistant(HCA) and the care that is delivered by the HCA.
Objectives:
To investigate and describe what the patient understands by the role of the HCA.
To describe and explore what the patient thinks and feels about the care that is delivered by the HCA.
To develop an understanding of what has influenced these perceptions and beliefs.
To generate theoretical understanding about the patients’ perceptions of the role of the HCA and the care delivered.REC name
