Research summary
Patterns of Perception is a collaborative project between people with Parkinson’s disease, the Institute of Neurology, University College London (UCL), the Textiles Futures Research Community at Central Saint Martins of the University of the Arts London and the English National Ballet (ENB). The aim is for this knowledge exchange project to reduce stigma related to Parkinson’s disease through a series of workshops involving around 10-20 people with Parkinson’s disease, that use textile design, movement and dance to explore the lives of people living with Parkinson’s disease.
