  • Research summary

Our research study is a pilot randomised clinical trial which would be comparing the patient satisfaction of 2 different types of dentures. The difference between the two dentures are in the shape of the denture teeth. Currently we use denture teeth of a “classic” design. There are new teeth available now that have a shape that is likened to natural teeth (these teeth are referred to in this study as denture teeth with an "enhanced design"). These denture teeth of an enhanced design are also being currently used as a part of standard clinical care. We would like to compare the satisfaction of the patients between these two denture teeth. The participants of this proposed study would be patients that would have already been referred to our hospital for denture treatment.
