Research summary
This study aims to understand the past experiences of people with HIV in relation to health care, both general and HIV specific. We are interested in the views of people living with HIV on how their health care might be delivered in the future.
The study will take place at the Kobler Hunter Clinic, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. The study will consist of four focus group discussions, each of eight to ten people living with HIV. Two of these groups will be those with a long term contact with this service and two groups will be more recent clients.
The results of this research will feed directly into the service planning being conducted by the HIV Directorate at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, with additional support from the St Stephen’s AIDS Trust. The research will also feed into more general planning about the delivery of HIV care in the UK into the future.REC name
