Research summary
Traction splints are used in our unit to help manage complex finger fractures however no research has investigated patient perceptions of these splints. To help further inform splint design and regime, this study will be a qualitative study using grounded theory to provide an in-depth understanding of the patient experience using a semi-structured interview approach. Twelve participants will be recruited.
