    This is an MsC project study that will use 10-11 qualitative interviews with staff and patients in the ED Department about a new pain service that has been recently introduced. The researcher is an ED Physician. The study is a qualitative research on patient’s engagement and analgesia standards in the Emergency department using a novel method called “the analgesia card“ that will encourage the patient to contribute with the management in the department with presenting with pain. this study will review patient’s and staff’s perspectives on the use of this novel method.
