Research summary
The aim of the project is to explore patients' opinions on the concept of doctors being provided with the cost of common blood tests, along with the result. This will be collected using patients who will be invited to attend a focus group via the Associate Director for Patient Experience in the Royal Derby Hospital. We will recruit up to a maximum of 50 patients, who will attend the focus groups. The results will be analysed and written up to understand general themes and attitudes.
