  This research trial will aim to understand the patient and clinician experience of Achilles tendon rupture immobilisation and rehabilitation. There have been no qualitative trials investigating the Leicester Achilles immobilisation protocol. The trial will achieve these aims by completing interviews with Achilles tendon rupture patients and musculoskeletal clinicians in Leicestershire.
