Research summary
This study is a pilot intervention study of an outdoor and nature-based activity programme for residents living with dementia and poor mental health at an Extra Care village in Birmingham. A series of activities will be offered over a 12-week period, observations of participant behaviour, mood and engagement will be carried out during activities. In addition a range of measures exploring participant physical and mental well-being will be taken the week prior-to and following the 12 week programme.
