Research summary
This study will investigate how glaucoma treatment affects patients' quality of life. We aim to understand perspectives and treatment expectations in patients with POAG (Primary Open-Angle Glaucoma) and/or Ocular Hypertension. The qualitative approach in this study is aimed to explore hopes, concerns, and expectations of patients with POAG and/or OHT, for whom the potential for loss of vision has already been relieved by the detection of disease and initiation of treatment. The unique insight of patients’ preferences and concerns regarding treatment outcome will complement the clinical potential of current glaucoma treatment.
