Research summary
The study will assess safety, tolerability and efficacy of a novel Investigational Medicinal Product (IMP) QRX003 (dipalmitoyl hydroxyproline) skin lotion in participants with Netherton Syndrome, when added to the systemic standard of care treatment regimen. The QRX003 lotion 4% will be applied twice daily (BID).
The patients will have 12 weeks treatment. If they enter the long-term extension study that is being planned, they will exit at week 12; if not, they will attend during 4 more weeks. The study will recruit 16 participants of age 4 years and older.
Participants will require to complete 5 study visits; Screening, Baseline, Week 6, Week 12 / End of Treatment, and Week 16 / End of
