Data collection arrangements
The data would be collected into Microsoft Excel 2010 (Microsoft, Redmond, WA) database
management program. The database is a standalone MS Excel file and does not require any
server. Any PC that runs Windows version 2000 or above that can run Microsoft Excel 2010
can be used as hardware to run the database. There are no data interfacing or transfer between
packages required; all data would be entered into Microsoft Excel 2010 file. The day-to-day management of the database will be co-ordinated through the main research team members and overseen by the data controller Miss M Georgiou, no additional data required.Research programme
London North West Healthcare NHS trust will act as the main sponsor for these studies. The proposed studies may be subject to inspection and audit by the R&D department at London North West Healthcare NHS trust under their remit as sponsor to ensure adherence to GCP and the NHS Research Governance Framework for Health and Social Care. The database will be stored securely on NHS computers for 5 years. The researchers will comply with the trusts’ confidentiality code of conduct.
