Research summary
This study shall involve non invasive observations of current usage of Negative Pressure Wound Therapy Devices by HCPs and Patients. The study shall observe the use of existing devices across chronic wounds, infected / and problematic wounds and post surgical incisions. The study aims to improve the understanding of current workflows in as natural setting as possible. Observations will take place in wound clinics and community settings (e.g. patient homes) to gain insight into the current user journey of existing devices. The focus will be towards device use and interactions and not be focused on clinical outcomes.
The study shall not involve any intervention or deviation in current clinical care.
