Research summary
The aim of the study is to improve outcomes in paediatric and adult brain tumours by developing novel methods in imaging. Specifically:
1. Optimising MR imaging of paediatric and adult brain tumours.
2. Developing novel MRI sequences to improve outcomes.
3. Developing and implementing novel image computing techniques to improve outcomes. This will be performed through a main retrospective study and two prospective imaging sub studies:
1. Main study: Modelling outcomes in paediatric and adult brain tumours.
2. Sub study 1: Accelerated Selective Arterial Spin-Labelling for characterization of brain tumours.
3. Sub study 2: Non-invasive quantification of microstructure and metabolic microenvironment in teenage and young adult gliomas undergoing treatment.REC name
