    Our dataset will have information on a large cohort of patients who have had samples through a transfusion laboratory. It will allow us to describe features of a large representative cohort of patients with transfusion-dependent anaemias (TDA) including MDS, SCD and thalassaemia. This dataset will including data on red cell antigens, red cell alloantibodies and transfusion history.

    Our dataset will allow us to understand the specific transfusion needs of patients with transfusion-dependent anaemias (TDA) including MDS, SCD and thalassaemia and develop a range of research projects, for example, ways of providing better matched red cells for transfusions with fewer complications
