Research summary
NESH (neural effects of steroid hormones)aims to assess the impact of long-term exposure to excess cortisol and testosterone on brain structure and function in women aged 18 years and over with a disorder of steroid hormone production (congenital adrenal hyperplasia). This study will provide important clinical information to direct future psychological and medical management of patients with congenital adrenal hyperplasia.
