Research summary
This is a study to discover, design and develop blood and breath biomarker signatures in patients with Pulmonary hypertension. A bio-marker is anything that can be used as an indicator of a disease or condition. In this study we will be collecting and analyzing their blood and breath samples to identify these biomarkers. All forms of pulmonary hypertension are not diagnosed until the disease is severe, there is an unmet need for an non-invasive test that helps detect this condition and possibly stratifies patients based on risk of pulmonary hypertension, allowing for earlier diagnosis.
