Research summary
Melanomas that have been classified as naevoid melanomas comprise two types with distinct clinical, histopathological and immunohistochemical features that may also be prognostically significant (Cook et al. 2017).
Design:
Using pathology reports at Royal Surrey County Hospital we will collect the demographic and clinical information of
patients with different sub-types of naevoid melanoma.
Overall aim:
We will collect the details of the clinical contact and will contact them to request the patient outcome data.
To investigate whether there is a prognostic difference between two subtypes (papillomatous and maturing naevoid melanomas).REC name
