• Data collection arrangements

  Data collected from the routine clinical care of patients with Myasthenia or suspected Myasthenia, will be entered onto a database, prospectively. This will allow an accurate observation of the natural history of this condition that is rare.

  The database will be kept encrypted and secure, i.e. within the NHS IT system. Any data analysed from this will be done anonymously. Any identifiable data will only be accessible by the clinicians involved in the patient's care - i.e. aiding the documentation of their care, and also ensuring correct patient data entry.
