Research summary
In this clinical study, two medicines are being used: cemsidomide and dexamethasone. Cemsidomide is a new medicine being tested, while dexamethasone is an approved medicine that supports the treatment. Both are taken as tablets by mouth.
This study is testing if cemsidomide, taken with dexamethasone, can help people with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma—a type of blood cancer that has come back or stopped responding to previous treatments. The study also looks at how safe the treatment is and how it affects the body.
The study will take place at around 60 hospitals in North America, the EU and the UK, with about 100 participants in total.REC name
