  • Research summary

The Million Women Study: Changes to Lifestyle In Retirement study is an interview study of retired women in England who are currently participants in the Million Women Study. The aim of this study is to investigate whether retirement represents a good opportunity for women to make changes to their health-related behaviours and thus improve their health in old age. We will ask participants whether they are aware of public health guidelines for a healthy lifestyle and whether they made any changes to their lifestyles when they retired. We will also ask about what they thought had helped or hindered them in making changes.
