  • Research summary

The aim of the study is to demonstrate the effect of ranolazine, on top of standard therapy, in patients with Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) characterized by angina and limited exercise capacity on treadmill test.
Overall the study will recruit 1216 randomised patients (608 treated with ranolazine and 608 treated with placebo) with CAD confirmed by angiography, prior Myocardial Infarction (MI) or prior revascularization (Percutaneous coronary intervention - PCI, Coronary artery bypass surgery - CABG) and with exercise induced angina not controlled by their standard therapy.
