  This study involves a small number of healthy volunteers (n=10) to ascertain initial safety of the device. Each volunteer will be attached to an extra-corporeal circuit containing the MediSieve haemofiltration device. This will enable blood to be circulated through the device at the same flow rate as that proposed for eventual clinical use.
