  Deteriorating patients on general wards are often missed. Delays in treatment leads to prolonged hospital stay, delayed admissions to ICU, increased rates of death and cardio-pulmonary arrests. We intend to collate data on patients seen by Medical Emergency Teams / Critical Care Outrach teams to establish what would be an acceptable standard of outcomes 24 hours after being seen by a team.
