Research summary
This is a non-interventional study which is collecting data to build a database containing valuable clinical data looking at the survival of patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) under routine clinical practice. The patients are idenified from being a screen failure for a current oncology study so will be followed in thier routine medical care.
The collection of this data will enable linkage with other datasets such as a biomarkers database. This will provide valuable information to doctors and scientists involved in medical research. A biomarker is anything (substance, cell, protein, process etc) that can be used to measure the progress of a particular disease and/or the effects of treatment.REC name
