Research summary
Head and neck cancer (HNC) is becoming more common. Patients from deprived areas are often diagnosed later and find it more difficult to attend daily radiotherapy treatment. Missing radiotherapy treatment appointments reduce the chance of cancer being cured. Finding out why patients who missed appointments felt they could not attend could help us design a service which supports our patients, regardless of background, to complete their treatment.
