Research summary
This study aims to distribute a questionnaire to operating theatre workers (surgeons, nurses etc.) who work in the NHS in order to gain an understanding of physical job demands and the prevalence of self-reported musculoskeletal disorders in relation to the footwear worn. The questionnaire will be delivered online and results will be collected anonymously. It will fill gaps in the current literature, particularly in regards to footwear and footwear needs in this environment.
