• Data collection arrangements

  The data is stored in passworded electronic databases stored on Lothian Older people's psychology service(LOPPS) shared drive. Only the research team have the password. The database is registered as information asset registers with NHS Lothian. The site file containing the original consent forms is stored in a locked filing cabinet on NHS Lothian premises.
  LOPPS clinicians ask patients to participate in the database as part of the routine introduction to neuropsychological assessment for dementia. They they send a summary of assessment results to the research team who then enter the data into the database.
