  • Research summary

More data is needed on the long-term outcome and natural history of untreated patients with Scheuermann's kyphosis. Unfortunately, the current literature lacks strong levels of evidence particularly concerning natural history and curve progression. This study offers unique access to a large cohort of untreated consecutive patients. We hope that this study will help to define treatment indications in Scheuermann’s kyphosis. Patients will be asked to return for a single clinic visit to undergo a short interview including completion of validated outcome questionnaires, an examination of the spine and a single x-ray.
