Research summary
This questionnaire will investigate exercise habits, attitudes and physical activity levels of patients who have had stoma surgery. It will also investigate recall of advice or information provided by heatlhcare professionals.
The questionnaire has been carefully designed to avoid bias and to encourage honest answers through closed question format with careful funnelling. The questions ask about current exercise behaviours, recall of information and opinions.
It is anonymous and patient details are not required. Patients will be sent the questionnaire via email and it will be shared through social media.
The results will be used to help design exercise and rehabilitation services in the future in the UK for stoma patients. Results will be presented at the ASCN conference in September by the lead investigator and published in a relevant journal in the future.REC name
