Data collection arrangements
Samples and data are stored in the Lashley Lab (Department of Neurodegenerative Diseases, UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology). Brain tissue, spinal cord, cerebrospinal fluid, blood, peripheral organs and skin will be housed and curated for research projects. The samples are acquired from various sources 1) Historical Collections 2) Prospective collections 3) Tissue via Material Transfer agreements 4) Referrals
Research programme
The Lashley Lab tissue bank support in-house research and also research projects at UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology, other UK and international research centres. Over many years the Lashley Lab has supported research projects into neurodegenerative diseases by providing expertise in tissue research to the scientific community.
