Research summary
Laryngomalacia is the commonest cause of stridor (noisy breathing and airway obstruction) in babies. We are developing a Core Outcome Set for management of laryngomalacia in otherwise-healthy children. A COS is a list of outcomes, agreed by parents and professionals, to be reported by all future studies of laryngomalacia management. If all studies report the same outcomes, research will be more transparent and easier to compare.
