  The KOLCOV HF study will be a prospective, observational registry comparison of all comers with acute decompensated heart failure. The Registries will focus only on patients admitted to hospital with acute heart failure (new diagnosis or decompensation of known chronic stable heart failure). We plan to compare various factors by recording every patient diagnosed with heart failure over a period of 1 year into independent registries in two cities in two different countries (Kolkata, India and Coventry, UK), simultaneously.
