  • Research summary

This study plans to investigate if it is possible to collect data from various monitoring methods after head injury in children and use them to predict future outcome. Currently, doctors are uncertain which monitoring to use after an acute brain injury and how to combine all available information. We plan to collect information about longer term recovery from the parents of brain injured children using an interview over the phone. We will then analyse and identify which tests done in the paediatric intensive care unit were associated with the observed long term functional outcomes.
