Research summary
This study is investigating the Ekso robotic device. It aims to get an understanding of the experiences of the patients and staff from an acute spinal injuries unit where the Ekso has been used as part of the rehabilitation service for the last 10 months. Through understanding their perceptions and experiences this service can be evaluated and the results shared with the wider spinal injury community. Complete and incomplete SCI patients who have used the Ekso and clinicians who have worked with them during their rehabilitation will be invited to participate in the study. Experiences will be explored through semi structured interviews.
